Organic Purchasing Power

The RegioData organic purchasing power indicators (also referred to as organic market potential or spending volume) of a country represent the share of retail-relevant purchasing power spent on organically produced products. Organic purchasing power therefore describes the ability of an individual or a household to purchase these product categories within a specific period using the financial resources available to them. The index indicates deviations from the respective national average standard of living (fixed at 100).
