With more than 1,600 outlets, the Benetton Groups is Italy’s largest fashion chain with its brands Benetton and Sisley. The runner-up in this regard is Coin, with altogether 7 sales divisions and more than 980 outlets. These include the fashion department stores OVS, Upim, and Coin, as well as other brands. Miroglio Fashion comes in third place with its five brands Caractere, Elana Miro, Oltre, Motivi and Fiorella Rubino, and more than 950 outlets.
In terms of the number of outlets, Max Mara also holds a strong position on the Italian market. The company is represented by seven brands: Max Mara, Sportmax, Max&Co., Marella, iBlues, Pennyblack, Marina Rinaldi and Persona. It operates more than 500 outlets in total. In contrast, the Inditex Group’s six brands are represented at around 240 locations, H&M at only around 115.
